Fabulous and unique this lovely pendant is made from turquoise and real ammonite fossils which have been polished to a gloss shine surrounded in sterling silver. No two items are the same as both the fossils and the striations in the turquoise are unique to each piece. SIZE: 2.5w x 7h x 0.9d cm (with 40cm long black cord with silver clasp). Turquoise means Turkish stone and has been used in jewellery as far back as 5000BC. It is said to be a protection stone and can ward off evil, protect against danger and is good to wear when travelling, for healers is the 'Master Healing' stone and can aid meditation. It is also the birthstone for December and for the Zodiac Signs - Aries & Sagittarius.
